Quick, clean, and to the point

Select visible cells only

Mac shortcut 
Z

This shortcut will select only visible cells in the current selection. This means that cells in the current selection that are in hidden rows or columns will not be selected. Watch our video tip on this shortcut.

In Mac Excel 2016, you can also use Command+Shift+* to select visible cells.
